Meet the Speakers: David Scott

vic

GAIN's theme for November, and our final theme month for 2023, is Rising Neurodivergent Talent. As usual, we're running events for both our individual and corporate members. For the first time, GAIN's Bea Richardson will moderate the discussion with our speakers.

In our fourth Meet the Speakers article for the Rising Neurodivergent Talent theme, we're delighted to introduce you to David Scott.

David Scott works as Aviva’s Culture & Employee Experience Manager. He won the Apprenticeship Ambassador Award at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards and Community Champion Award at the Aviva Value in Actions Awards in 2022.

He was diagnosed with Dyslexia in his fourth-year studies at the University of The West of Scotland. He completed his apprenticeship and graduated with an Honours Degree in Software Development.

On top of his day job, David is the External Partnerships lead for Aviva’s LGBTQ+ Network. His role in steer-co is all about developing external relationships with charities and financial service organisations. David is also a member of the Employer Equalities Group at Skills Development Scotland.

Rising Neurodivergent Talent: An Individual Member Event takes place virtually on Tuesday 14th November at 12:30, via Teams.
